FIRST PLACE
“Chris on bridge” by Jay Rochlin
I kept coming back to this image because of the strong composition, great color saturation, sharp focus and leading lines which draw the viewer into the picture.
This image is a great example of the extreme depth of field of the Minox lenses.
RUNNER UP
“Bicycle Seat” by David Champion
Excellent black & white tonal range and composition with superb depth of field and detail. This image fills the frame well and the curve of the bench makes a great leading line to the bicycle.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Boat dock by Dennis Halgren
Another beautiful image. Color saturation, focus, composition and the dock leading the viewer to the half-sunken boat make this a great entry.
Sleeping by Larry Feldman
Absolutely gorgeous image. The soft light, sharp focus and beautiful model kept me coming back to this peaceful image.
Stone Arch by Steve Zimmerman
The accentuated grain, high contrast and black border of this image really grabs the viewer’s attention. An outstanding use of the Minox format.
Streetcred by Mike Levy
Great tonality and composition. It captures the mood of the inner city. Sharp selective focus and beautiful contrast.
